The glow in the dark school

While stationed in Navrongo Ghana with the Peace Corps, It seemed fit for a village with very little electricity. My sponsor was DayGlo Pigments. We were able to cover the whole school in phosphorescent pigment. It charged during the day with the heat and light of the sun – then would glow for 2 hours after dark. (After the charge dimmed then you were able to use the whole outside of the school as we used the screens in Slovenia.) We unveiled the Project in conjunction with Ghana’s 50th anniversary.
